What platforms does MinRight run on?

MinRight is currently available for Windows. A Mac version is coming soon.

Is my data uploaded to the cloud?

No. All data lives in a local file on your computer. MinRight does not operate a cloud service, and we have no access to your information. Learn more about how your data is handled.

What's the difference between the two plans?

Both plans include identical features. The monthly subscription at $25/month is designed for people who need to get their mineral interests organized, build a complete inventory, and generate a report. Once you're done, cancel. If you're receiving active royalties and want to track payments over time, the lifetime license at $99 is the better value.

Do I need an internet connection to use MinRight?

Only for license activation, checking for updates, and downloading property boundary maps. When you enter a property's section, township, and range, MinRight fetches the boundary from the BLM's public PLSS database. Once downloaded, the boundary is stored locally and doesn't need the internet again. Everything else works completely offline.

Is there a free trial?

Not currently. However, the $25/month subscription lets you use MinRight for as long as you need. Many people subscribe for a month or two to get everything organized, generate their reports, and then cancel.

What happens to my data if I cancel the subscription?

Your data stays on your computer. It is always yours. If you resubscribe or purchase a lifetime license later, all your data will still be there.

Can I switch from monthly to lifetime?

Yes. Purchase the lifetime license at any time and cancel your subscription. Your data carries over seamlessly.
